Years ago I discovered the joy of being in a position to rescue animals typically one at a time. Later I made the decision with my husband to purchase a small farm and take on more animals than our tiny apartment would allow. Originally we discussed taking on a few horses, perhaps another dog or some cats. Almost overnight we found ourselves with 5 horses, 10 chickens, 3 dogs (one of which we drove all the way to
Las Vegas to rescue) and 4 cats. It's crazy busy trying to earn enough money to support all these babies. I work a full time job, my husband works two jobs. I work days, he works nights. It's rare when we see each other but sometimes we get to talk on the phone. Most conversations revolve around what needs to be fixed in this 137 year old farm house, that in itself costs a small fortune. Long story short it is all worth it when we get to spend time with our fur and feathered adopted children. If you would like to help our cause we are open to donations.
